Iron deficiency is the most common nutritional deficiency worldwide and the leading cause of anemia (known as Iron deficiency anemia) in women. In the case of Iron deficiency, the body can't produce enough hemoglobin for red blood cells which is essential for the transportation of oxygen to other parts of the body.
